Brother Jed preached the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ on college campuses for 50 years. He ministered on hundreds of universities in all 50 states and abroad leading thousands of students to faith in Christ. He has been around academe most of his life. His late father was head of the English Department at Indiana State University. That is where Jed earned a B.S. in Social Studies, a M.S. in U.S. History and did postgraduate work in counseling and psychology. He taught for five years at the junior high, high school and college levels. After his conversion, in 1972, he returned to the universities to proclaim the great salvation of our Lord! Despite being heckled, mobbed, and even physically abused, his love for the students never failed. On May 17, Bro. Jed preached his final message at the University of Missouri concluding a 5-month mission across the country; the day ended with many professing faith in the Lord.
