WILMA D. GRANDIDIER Wilma D. Grandidier, 91, of Terre Haute and Ft. Myers, Florida died Saturday evening, November 30, 2013 in Davis Gardens. She was an operating room technician having worked at the former St. Anthony Hospital in Terre Haute. Wilma was born July 9, 1922 in Terre Haute to Richard O. Brentlinger and Pauline A. Blumenberg Brentlinger. Her husband, Millard A. Grandidier, preceded her in death in 2007. Survivors include her son, David Grandidier and his wife, Susan, of Coatesville, IN; her daughter, Christie Mitton of Midland, MI; a brother, Richard C. Brentlinger of Bonita Springs, FL; five grandchildren, Debora Woods, Lora Mitton, Karen Csizmar and her husband, Michael, Brent Grandidier and his wife, Jennifer, and Beverly Hoops and her husband, Kent; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Marilyn Straughan. Wilma was a graduate of Wiley High School and attended Brown's Business College. She was a member of I.B.E.W. Ladies Auxiliary, United States Power Squadron and Terre Haute Elks Club #86 where she enjoyed participating in the golfing and bowling leagues for many years. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Abe Miller officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Thursday from 11:00 AM- 1:00 P.M. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, 50 E. 91st St., STE 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4830.
