William W. Price

William W. Price, 78, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Union Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1946, in Terre Haute to Byron and Jane (Acree) Price.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Angie Price and Heather Price, both of Terre Haute; a brother, Randy Price of Oregon; and a sister, Cathy Kuenning of Eloy, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill graduated from Wiley High School in 1964. He proudly served in the United States Navy Reserves in 1969 and later received his Coast Guard Captains license. Continuing his education, Bill earned his Master’s Degree in Microbiology from Indiana State University. He worked for many years in Vigo County Government and was the Executive Director of Redevelopment when he retired.

Bill enjoyed a life-long love of boats and boating, and captained his own boat down the “Great Loop” from Benton Harbor, Michigan to Clearwater, Florida.
