William J. Nasser passed away peacefully January 4, 2020 in Clearwater, Florida. The son of Joseph F. and Delores A. (Bachus) Nasser, he was born in Terre Haute, IN October 1, 1940.
He moved to Dunedin in 1973. After moving to Florida he became a property manager and successfully owned his own business for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was known for his compassion for all, his joy of interpreting for the deaf, his dry wit, and his love of photography. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jo Anne (Czomak), his daughter, Jill Harry, and her husband David, his two grandchildren, Will and Emma of Knoxville, TN, an aunt, many cousins, and many godchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute with Father Dan Bedel officiating.
A Memorial Mass will be February 29, 2020, at 11:00 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, (LLS.org) or Dogs for Better Lives (dogsforbetterlives.org) which provides dogs for people who have hearing loss. Local arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
