William Byron "Bill" March, 63, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on May 29, 2019 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was the husband of Geri Reindl March. They shared 45 years of marriage together.
Bill was born in Elgin, IL to William T. and Bonnie Blakeman March on December 8, 1955. A veteran of the United States Army, he was a truck driver and owned a trucking business. He was a parishoner of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and how he cherished spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Geri; two sons, William (Amber) of Bentonville, AR and Byron (Ann) of Decatur, IL; 6 grandchildren, Zoe March, Tyler Henderson, Matt March, Alexia March, Willow March and Ben Rarrieck; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, Jeff March of Columbia, SC and his mother, Bonnie March, of Columbia, SC. Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Thomas March, and his sister, Anita LeVasseur.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1807 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN with Father Dan Bedel officiating. Visitation will be prior to Mass starting at 9:30 a.m. A Rosary will begin at 10:45 a.m. Military Honors will be provided by V.F.W. Post #972.
