William Asa Kline, 66, of Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Union Hospital. He was born October 14, 1954 in Jacksonville, IL to Thomas Kline and Lorraine Frater Kline. William was a longtime employee at Rose-Hulman.
Bill was a beloved husband and father. Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Feraco Kline; children, William Kline, Celeste Huster (John Craig), and Maria Kline; brother, Thomas Kline (Carol); and sister, Martha Kline; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill worked at Rose-Hulman since 2003 and served in many different roles, most recently being the Associate Dean of Innovation and a Professor of Engineering Management. While at Rose-Hulman, he discovered his true passion in life: teaching and working with students. Bill loved being on campus and enjoyed every day he got to work with students and colleagues. Prior to working at Rose-Hulman, Bill co-founded Montronix, a company in the global machine monitoring industry. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed bird watching, cycling, and golf.
A public visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 26, 2021 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 th Street.
