Survivors include his fiancée, Kay French; step-children, Brian Bogard (Angela) and Michelle Bogard; half-sister, Virginia Lee Isles (Gary); sister-in-law, Vicki French; niece, Michelle Lawson (Greg); six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; best friend, Stu Baurer; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Sue French; his parents; and a brother, Dale French.
Bill was a member of Kings Harvest Four Square Gospel Church, American Legion Post #104, and a life member of V.F.W. Post #972.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 24, 2020 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery with military services by V.F.W. Post #972. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday.
