William G. Caserotti

William G. “Bill” Caserotti, 77, of Terre Haute passed away late Thursday evening, October 1, 2020.  He was an Inventory Manager for Public Service Indiana/Duke Energy for 35 years.  Bill was born December 28, 1942 in Terre Haute to Louis Caserotti and Mary Dowen Caserotti.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Ann Meehan Caserotti;  his brother, Jim Caserotti (Annadean) of McKinney, TX;  and his sister, Brenda Harbor (Dan) of Carmel, IN.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, John Caserotti (Nancy), Jeff Caserotti, Lance Caserotti (Ashly), Sherri Vanyek (Dave), Tammi Houser (Kelly), Kristi Kisner (Jerry), Mike Meehan (Paula), Terri Meehan, Tony Meehan (Dilya), Jeff Meehan (Holly), Shane Meehan (Mandy), Joseph Meehan and Heidi Meehan;  and several great-nieces and great-nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill was a 1961 graduate of West Vigo High School and had served with the United States Army Reserves.  He was a very active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church where he volunteered in the Soup Kitchen for 14 years and was a Eucharistic Minister.  Bill (along with his wife Ann) also volunteered with the Chances for Youth Mentoring Program for Children.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:05 PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 South 9 ^th Street, with Father Fred Pasche, OFM Conv. officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6 ^th , from 4:00-7:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.  Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.  If friends should so desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Soup Kitchen, 111 South 9 ^th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807 or to the charity of your choice.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
