Virginia Ruth Beck

Virginia Ruth Beck, 86, of Seelyville passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 in Union Hospital.  She was born May 31, 1934 in Terre Haute to Harry Milner and Lydia Garrigus Milner.

Survivors include her sons, James Beck (Lynn) and Kevin Beck (Michele Ave); grandchildren, Brian Beck, Rachelle Koch (Chad), and Bradley Beck (Kayle); great grandchildren, Wyatt Koch, Hank Koch, and Annie Koch; sisters, Katherine King and Caroline Lanning; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Beck; her parents; brothers, Walter Milner, Bill Milner, and James Milner; and sisters, Anna Mae Fagg, Doris Moy, and Cora Barnhart.

Virginia loved spending time with her family and during the last few years especially enjoyed the time with her grandkids and great grandkids.  She loved to buy, sell, and collect antiques.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 16, 2020 in Highland Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Jack Hopkins officiating.  There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.
