Violet V. Carty

Violet V. Zemlock Carty, 102, formerly of Terre Haute passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 in Park Manor of Tomball, TX. She was born March 2, 1914 in Jasonville, IN to John S. Hyslop and Cleo M. Herod Hyslop.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Woodward of Hockley, TX; and grandchildren, Serena Elbert and Kirsten Wendy Marrow. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Stephen Zemlock and Marvin Carty; her parents; and a sister, Evelyn Pigg.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Rosedale Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. There is no visitation.
