Victor T. Ashley, 77, of Terre Haute died Sunday, April 8, 2018 in Union Hospital. He was born May 14, 1940 in Terre Haute to Carl Ashley and Betty Booth Ashley. Victor was a pastor and had worked in the Indianapolis and Rockville prisons.

Survivors include his daughter, Veronica Ashley (Russell Gayheart); sons, Victor T. Ashley, Jr., Richard Ashley, and Carl Ashley; mother; brother, Tommy Ashley; sister, Nancy Talaber; grandchildren, John Willis (Tiffany), James Willis (Kessiah), and Austin Ashley; great grandchildren, Hadley Willow Ann Willis, Maddie Pinion, Owen Pinion, and Grayson Pinion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ashley and his father.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to services.
