Tillie Ann Kulinski

Tillie Ann Kulinski, 90, of Terre Haute passed away Monday morning, August 14, 2023.  She was born October 11, 1932 in Terre Haute to John Kulinski and Anna Joseph Kulinski.

Survivors include her best friends, Mary Jane Coker and Donna Doti;  a niece, Martha Dowell;  great-nephew, Jonathan K. Dowell;  and a great-niece Angela Rago.  Also surviving is a special cousin who was like a brother, James W. Joseph, Sr.;  cousins, Gary Joseph, Jim Joseph, Jr. and Emily Joseph Swartz;   many beloved friends;  and her extended family at St. Joseph University Parish.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Kulinski, Jr. and Michael Kulinski;  sister in law, Loretta Kulinski;  aunts and uncles, Jack and Anna, Magdelene, Matilda, Frank and Frances;   cousins;   and lifelong friend, Cloetta Stover.

Tillie was a graduate of St. Patrick Girls Catholic High School in 1950.  Employed throughout her life, her last employment was at Union Hospital as an Administrative Secretary to Quality Assurance Control and Medical Staff from 1981 until her retirement in 1995.  Tillie was a life-long member of St. Joseph University Parish where she was active in the Altar Society, Professed Member of The Order of Secular Franciscans- St. Rose of Viterbo Fraternity and the Terre Haute Deanery Council of Catholic Women.  She served as organist at St. Joseph Parish for 30 years, having started as junior organist in 1946 until retiring in 1976.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 18, 2023 in St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5th Street, with Father Bob St. Martin officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled prior to Mass from 9:00-11:00 AM in the church.  If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5th St., Terre Haute, IN 47807.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
