Thomas H. Swan

Thomas H. Swan, 86, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in Westminster Healthcare.  He was born February 19, 1937 in Indianapolis to Dr. John R. Swan and Dr. Mary Esther Hughes Swan.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Wilson Swan; son, Thomas James Swan (Melissa); daughters, Cynthia Swan and Ginny Swan; brother, Dr. Robert Swan (Hilda); and grandchildren, Megan Swan, Nicholas Swan (Marisa), Christopher Swan, and Hannah Swan. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom was an AFLAC insurance agent. He was a member of Rotary, Mystic Tie Lodge #398 F & AM, Scottish Rite, Zorah Shrine, Sigma Chi, and was Past President of the Sycamore Country Club.  Tom was an avid Ohio State fan and a pilot. He was a golfer, loved to travel. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the Sycamore Country Club.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
