Thomas L. Clayton, Sr.

Thomas L. Clayton, Sr., 81, of Terre Haute passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in his residence. He was born October 17, 1943 in Terre Haute to Harry Clayton and Belle Baker Clayton. 

 Survivors include his wife, Patricia Carlson Clayton; son, Thomas Clayton, Jr. (Maria); brother, James Clayton (Judy); grandson, Patrick Clayton; and step grandchildren, Mary, Crystal, and Melissa. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Clayton and his parents. 

 Thomas was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a photo engraver for 32 years and retired from Bemis. 

 Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in Memorial United Methodist Church, 2701 Poplar, Terre Haute, IN with Reverend Ron Branson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to 14th & Chestnut Community Center.
