Theresa E. Hunt, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday morning, July 6, 2017 in Union Hospital. She was a Retail Specialist having worked for J.C. Penney at Honey Creek Mall for over 30 years. Theresa was born August 24, 1948 in Bryan, Ohio to Harold Ulrich and LaDonna Zuber Ulrich.

Survivors include her loving husband, Melvin E. Hunt; four children, Scott Blinzler (Betsy Walker) of Terre Haute, Laura Bridges of Terre Haute, Brad Hunt (Amy) of Avon, IN and Kim Martin (Danny) of Paris, IL; and three brothers, Phil Ulrich of Fair Oaks, CA, Gus Ulrich of Bryan, OH and Allen Ulrich of McClure, OH. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Devin Blinzler, Dylan Blinzler, Mason Blinzler, Christian Campbell, Blake Bridges, Chloe Hunt, Harper Hunt, Christa Lindsey, Heather Pitts, Ashley Lindsey, Brock Byrd, Brennen Byrd and Austin Byrd; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Angie Lindsey; a brother, David Ulrich; a sister, Marian Wade; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Lindsey.

Theresa was an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church and a former member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church. She was a compassionate person and enjoyed working with and helping others. Theresa also worked as a Teacher's Assistant and Mentor for children at Ouabache, Davis Park and Sugar Grove Elementary Schools. She was an avid reader and a lover of animals.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, July 9, 2017 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend David Rockhill officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 2701 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN 47803.
