Teri L. Mehling Teri L. Mehling, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Union Hospital. She was born in Danville, Illinois on July 26, 1955 to George Unverferth, Jr. and Grace Trimmell Unverferth. She was a former teacher's aide for The Midwest Institute of the Arts. She is survived by her husband of forty one years, Harvey Mehling. Other survivors include a son, Benjamin Ryan Mehling; a sister, Sheryl Yaraschefski of Indianapolis; her mother, Grace Unverferth; two grandchildren, Grabriel and Lydia Mehling; a niece and a great nephew. Teri was preceded in death by her father and two infant children. Teri was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and a member of B.S.F bible study. She graduated from Terre Haute South High School in 1973. She also loved to bowl in the Knights of Columbus bowling league and volunteer with the Special Olympics. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Monday, August 25, 2014 in Eastside Church of Christ with Coy Siddall and Abe Miller officiating. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to services at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.
