Suzanne "Susie" McCullaugh Suzanne "Susie" McCullaugh, 79, of Terre Haute passed away Friday morning, October 10, 2014 at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus. She had worked as a Teacher's Assistant with the Vigo County School Corporation. Susie was born September 16, 1935 in Terre Haute to Elmer F. Fries and Mina Biddle Fries. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Gareld "Gary" McCullaugh; a son, Dave McCullaugh of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Brandy. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, James "Tad" McCullaugh. Susie was a graduate of Wiley High School and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:05 P.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in St. Benedict Church, 111 South 9th Street, with Matthew Malek, O.F.M. Conv. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 13th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, 1811 South Fruitridge Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47803.
