Stephen K. Farnsworth

Stephen K. Farnsworth, beloved son of Don and Marie Farnsworth, passed away on Friday February 7, 2025, at the age of 71.

A proud graduate of Schulte High School Class of 1971, Steve was a member of its undefeated football team. Following school, he worked in the family business at Terre Haute Monument Company where he served as its President from 1986 until his retirement in 2024.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Don. His survivors include his loving mother Marie, and sister Donna, as well as his four children: Stephanie (Dan) Klemencic, Jared (Becky) Farnsworth, Kellie Farnsworth, and Andrew (Johnna) Farnsworth. He is also survived and cherished by his grandchildren: Patrick, Emily, Owen, DH, Ruth, Reed, Conrad, Otto, and Benny. Also surviving are his many wonderful cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Steve’s presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who were privileged to know him. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff of The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care for their compassion and professionalism during this difficult transition. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
