Shauna Jackson Patterson

Shauna Jackson Patterson passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 20.

Shauna was born on June 19, 2001 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN, to George and Janine Patterson. From a young age, Shauna was immersed in a Christian community, something that would be a vital cornerpost of the rest of her life. She had a vibrant view of the world and refused to back down from anything. From proving she could run as fast as her siblings to graduating from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2020, there wasn’t a thing she could not do.

Shauna had a pure heart. She was kind and outgoing, and willing to go out of her way to help her family or friends with anything. She lived her life through simple pleasures; listening to music, exploring the wilderness, exercising and spending time with her family. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and caring way, touching so many different lives through her own. Though she is dearly and incredibly missed by everyone here on Earth, there is peace knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior in Heaven.

Shauna is survived by her parents, George and Janine; her grandparents Richard and Janice Schnarr; siblings Jeremy, Alecia and Davis Patterson and nephew Archer Smith. She is preceded in death by her grandparents George Patterson Sr. and Billie Patterson.

A visitation for Shauna will take place at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home in Terre Haute from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday, February 14, 2022 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
