Sean Mullen, 51, of Terre Haute died suddenly on Sunday, January 5, 2020. Sean was a graduate of South High School and went on to get a BS from ISU in English, he also got a minor in computers from Ball State University. Sean was currently employed by Great Dane.
Sean is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Beth Mullen, his step son, Luke Garrison of Royal Oaks, Michigan and the Garrison Family who adored him and who he adored, especially his nieces and nephews. He had three brothers, Victor, Matt, Brock, and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents Vic and Carol Mullen and grandparents, George and Fran Mullen, and Bob and Mary Lou Sisson.
Sean was an amazing musician, playing 5 instruments. In the past he had been involved in the Terre Haute Music scene as a member of Malignant Theory and then with The Peace Weasels. These days he felt blessed to lend his musical talents to the church and its members that he loved, Central Christian.
Sean had a big heart, great sense of humor, and loved people. He enjoyed life, got excited about everything, and would give of himself for others. Sean also loved his dogs very much. Mostly, he was the best husband a woman could ask for and will be missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2020 in Central Christian Church, 4950 Wabash Avenue, with Reverend Rebecca Zelensky and Reverend Deb Moore-Hardin officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
