Scott L. Seliger

Scott L. Seliger, 65, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 in Union Hospital. He was born on July 17, 1950 in Hammond, IN to Vernon Seliger and Anne Johnson Seliger. Scott was a retired police officer with the Terre Haute Police Department serving his community for 32 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Barbara Grieser Seliger.

Other survivors include a son, Matt Seliger and his wife Kristy of Terre Haute; a brother, Kelly Seliger of Terre Haute; and a sister, Holly Seliger of Dyer, IN; Scott was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Scott Matthew Seliger.

Scott was a graduate of Indiana State University earning his degree in Criminology. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 85. He loved to go hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 2, 2016 in Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Pastor Jacob Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday April 1, 2016 in the funeral home.
