Survivors include his son, Zac Auterson; his daughter, Paiden Auterson; his father, Harry Auterson (Marlena); his mother, Sherri Auterson; brother, Derik Auterson (Tammy); sister, Shauna Auterson; aunt, Sandra Auterson; uncle, Jack Auterson; and two nieces, Emily Auterson and Alexxis Smith.
Scott was a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Indiana State University. He loved sports especially the Colts, Cubs and Penguins and enjoyed working with puzzle books as well.
A Memorial gathering will begin at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, followed shortly thereafter with a service to take place at 6:45 PM. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
