Sandra Sue Tucker

Survivors include her children, Tony Tucker of Colorado, Chris (Jenny) Tucker of Jasper, IN, Stephanie (Jerre) Cline of Terre Haute, Ben (Mandy) Tucker of Southern California, and Jennifer (John) Schalburg of Terre Haute; ten grandchildren, Katherine (Luc) Shull, Timothy Cline, David (Leah) Tucker, Molly (Jonathan) Reed, Justine (Jordan) Isaacs, Daniel (Sara) Cline, Emma Tucker, Ryan Schalburg, Joe Tucker, and Josie Tucker; great grandchildren, Burke and Bennett Shull; and cousin, Sally (Steve) Ryan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan K. Tucker; son, Kirk Tucker; her parents; and a brother, Henry Dannenberg.
Sue was a member of St. Joseph University Parish. Her loves were her family, gardening and flowers, quilting, playing cards, and bird watching. She was a 21 year cancer survivor. Sue was also an awesome cook. The family would like to thank her hospice nurse, Kathy Ritter, and Hands That Serve for their excellent care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in St. Joseph University Parish with Friar Savio Manavalan OFM Conv. officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VNA Hospice of the Wabash Valley, St. Joseph University Parish, or Catholic Charities.
