Sandra Lynn Gosnell, 79, of Terre Haute is now with her Lord and Savior having passed away Friday morning, February 15, 2019 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care with her loving husband by her side. She was a Pharmacy Technician having worked for Kroger North for 20 years. Sandy was born January 22, 1940 in Paris, IL to Wendell McConchie and Etta Belle Sater McConchie.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 61 years, Herb Gosnell; two sons, Jerry Gosnell (Dreamey Nichols) and Don Gosnell (Terri Gosnell); a daughter, Deanna Gosnell (Dani Brokus); and four grandchildren, Kyle Gosnell (Brittany Botkins), Zack Gosnell (Caitlin Wilson), Jared Gosnell and Alan Wilson. Also surviving is a great-grandson, Maddox Gosnell; and five brothers-in-law, Harold Gosnell (Barb), Steve Gosnell (Debbie), John Gosnell, Leo McLaughlin and Ed Gosnell (Kelly). She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant brother, Gerald McConchie.

Sandy was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School and attended Cross Lane Community Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family meant everything to her. She always loved being with her close group of friends as well. She was such an inspiration and made an impact on everyone who knew her. Sandy was always the life of the party with her quick wit and sense of humor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Brett Wilson officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home.
