Ruby B. Tyler Ruby B. Tyler, 85, of Terre Haute died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in Union Hospital. She was born on October 2, 1927 in Brazil, IN to Rex Blaker and Hila Tabor Blaker. She was a retired bookkeeper for Hulman & Company and Smith Alsop. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Tyler in 1999. Survivors include three sisters; Doris Patterson and her husband Harold "Pat" of Terre Haute, Bea Marchino of Terre Haute and Shirley Hicks of Bradenton, FL; a sister-in-law, Judy Bradley and her husband Tony of Lenexa, KS; two brothers-in-law, Greg Tyler and his wife Liz of Terre Haute, and Don Williams of Ft. Wayne; and many nieces and nephews. Ruby was a 1946 graduate of Brazil Senior High School. After her employment in Terre Haute, she moved to Michigan where she continued in bookkeeping. She had been residing at Meadows Manor East, where they took very good care of her. Ruby liked to make bears and she gave many of them away. No services or visitation are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. Burial of her ashes will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
