Ruby D. Sankey

Ruby D. Sankey, 93, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 in her residence.  She was born July 7, 1929 in Nashville, IN to Charles Ferguson and Jessie Hill Ferguson.

Survivors include her children, Joyce Hofmann and Michael D. Sankey (Sherry); grandchildren, Derick Hofmann, Deana Rhoads (Aaron), Penny Fernandez, and David Sankey; five great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Sankey; her son, Ricky Sankey; her parents; two brothers; and five sisters.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Pastor Jeffrey Harpole officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.  There will be no visitation.
