RONALD F. WINTERS Ronald F. Winters, 73, of Terre Haute died Sunday morning, December 29, 2013 in Union Hospital. He had worked at Butler Paper Company and also MCL Cafeteria. Ron was born April 4, 1940 in Tecumseh, Indiana to Cloral Winters and Mary Wardle Winters. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Janet Parrish Winters; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Winters of Terre Haute and Doris Dunigan of Spencer, IN; nieces & nephews, Marshall Winters of Terre Haute, Kenny Parrish of Bloomington, IN, Robert Parrish of Gosport, IN, Laurie Winters of Terre Haute, Kim Lyttle of Spencer, IN, Jaclyn Stogsdill of Dayton, OH, Sheri Salis of Denver, CO and Beverly of Florida; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara Heller; two brothers, Dave (Bud) Winters and Don Winters; a sister-in-law, Linda Winters; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Parrish. Ron graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1959 and served in the United States Army from 1961-1964. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America, enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Wesley Fish officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Honors provided by VFW Post #7850 will take place at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Gosport Cemetery in Gosport, IN.
