RONALD LEE SHAFFER June 7, 1938 - April 15, 2015 Ronald Lee Shaffer, 76, passed away April 15, 2015, after a short illness. He was born in Anderson, IN, to William A. and Helen D. Shaffer. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley Sappingfield. He is survived by brothers Roy, of Colorado Springs, CO; Fred (Marilyn), of Boca Raton, FL; and Johnny Hathaway (Carol) of Terre Haute; sister Sherril Harlow of Gillett, WI; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in and around Terre Haute and scattered about the country. A graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery in Terre Haute at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the charity of choice.
