Ronald R. "Hoghead" Milner Ronald R. "Hoghead" Milner, age 72, of Terre Haute, passed away on February 6, 2015 in Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on May 25, 1942 to Russell Ray Milner and Erma Emory Milner. He was employed for forty years with Wabash Fiber Box as a maintenance Mechanic and then became a stationary boiler engineer. He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Hummel Milner of Terre Haute. Other survivors include three sons, David Milner, Brad Milner and his wife Sheila and Noel Milner and his wife Joyce all of Terre Haute; a daughter, Jennifer Kelley and her husband Keith of Terre Haute; eight grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Ginny Hummel of Terre Haute. Ron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Selvia Milner; and Ralph and Marie Emory; his parents; two brothers, Danny and Kenny Milner; and a father-in-law, Slug Hummel. Ron was a graduate of Gerstmyer High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 104 and was Past Commander of Sons of The American Legion. He love football and spot shooting with his little buddy, Aaron. He also love woodworking and made the ramps and stairs at the apartment complex. Ron also loves his mother-in-law's apple pies. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00P.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Reverend Wendell Kirkman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in the funeral home.
