Robert "Bear" M. Quain

Robert “Bear” M. Quain, 74, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Union Hospital.  He was born January 22, 1947, in Terre Haute to Robert A. Quain and Emma Faerber Quain.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Elliott Quain; sisters, Ellen Kirk and Kathy Kerr (Greg); nephews, Scott Kirk, Brian Kirk, and Neil Kerr; and great-nephew, Matthew Kirk.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bear was a cabinet maker for American Tile. He was a member of the Riley Conservation Club. Bear enjoyed woodworking and making picture frames, the outdoors, and his dogs, Sam, Madison, and Becca.

A Celebration of Life will be from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Riley American Legion.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society or Shepherd’s Chapel in Gravette, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.
