Rita J. Leusing Rita J. Leusing, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Southwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 3, 1926, in Terre Haute to John A. Leusing and Margaret Quinn Leusing. Rita was a retired legal secretary. Survivors include three sisters, Margaret M. Leusing, Ruth Rice both of Terre Haute and Joan Keelor of North Palm Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews; Rita was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John P. Leusing. Rita graduated from Central Catholic High School in Terre Haute. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of the church's Living Rosary Altar Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Rick Ginther officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to services in the church. The family kindly request that memorial contributions be made to St. Patrick Soup Kitchen, 1807 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN 47803. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
