Rick G. Paitson Rick G. Paitson, 53, of Brazil passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at his residence in Clay County. He was born December 24, 1959 in Terre Haute to Gene R. Paitson and Jane E. Hinton Paitson. He was a registered nurse and respiratory therapist at Terre Haute Region Hospital. Survivors include his son, Richard Paitson and his wife Nycloe of Terre Haute; a daughter, Sarah Decker and her husband Robert of Rosedale; a sister, Patti O'Day and her husband Ron of Terre Haute; his mother, Jane Paitson; and four grandchildren, Noah Gene Paitson, Sierra Mason, Jacob Bolenbaugh and Julie Decker. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Gene Paitson. Rick loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment. Rick was always willing to offer a helping hand to his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with the Reverend Abe Miller officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.
