Rena "Pauline" Weddle, 87, of Terre Haute passed away early Monday morning, February 12, 2018 at Southwood Healthcare Center. She was born September 16, 1930 in Terre Haute to William "Bartie" Streeter and Irma Helen Thompson Streeter. Her husband of 62 years, Vernie Lee Weddle, preceded her in death in 2011.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Lund (Bill) of Terre Haute; her son, Terry Weddle (Charlynn) of Terre Haute; three grandchildren, Chad Hendrix (Tamara), Kristen Nasser (Mark) and Clint Weddle (fiancé, Trudy Shaw); three great-grandchildren, Dylan & Brady Hendrix and Charlie Weddle; and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Streeter. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Streeter; a sister, Reta Loree Stewart; and a granddaughter, Trisha Lund.
Pauline was a 1948 graduate of Riley High School and was past secretary of the Riley Alumni Banquet. She was a member of the Riley Election Board and Riley Homemaker's Club. Pauline loved to bowl, having won numerous awards including Bowler of the Year at Vigo Bowl. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers and lived by the motto, "Live, Laugh and Love".

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery near Riley, IN. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Thursday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
