Ralph Louis Dobrow Lewis

Ralph Louis Dobrow Lewis, 82, of Terre Haute went fishing the morning of June 6, 2021.  He was born December 26, 1938 to Sophia Lebin and Manuel Dobrow.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Patricia Ann (Mitchell) Lewis, two sons, Denzil Lewis of Indiana and Grant Lewis and his wife Dawn of TX; two daughters, Carrie (Lewis) Bowman of TN and Patricia (Owens) Sharp granddaughter and her husband John; grandsons, Brandon Maners, Jacob Lewis, Austin Lewis, and Tyler Lewis; dear cousin, Judy Daggy; and his special great grandchild, the joy of his life, Robert Hyman Sharp. He was preceded in death by his parents; two uncles; and three aunts.

Ralph was a member of the United Hebrew Congregation.  He retired from Kroger after 38 years of service.

Friends and family are welcome to attend graveside funeral services to be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Highland Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Betsy Frank and Dr. Herschel Chait officiating.  A celebration of life will be held following services at the United Hebrew Congregation, 540 S. 6 ^th Street. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.  In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the United Hebrew Congregation or the Terre Haute Humane Society.
