Phyllis J. Proctor

Phyllis J. Proctor, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 in her residence with her family by her side. She was born February 27, 1937 in Brazil to Jack Nelson and Edna Bullerdick Ahlemeyer.

Survivors include her children, Chris Diel (Marlene), Sheryl Diel, Nancy Bauer, Brad Diel (Juanita), and Debra Ennen (David); step-daughter, Cathy Hunter (Roy); sisters, Betty Nelson, Beth Tevlin (Terry), Tana Holzmeyer, and Becky Wright; eleven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Proctor; her parents; and brother, Jack Nelson.

Phyllis was a hairdresser for 30 years and then an administrative assistant for Rose-Hulman.

Private Graveside funeral services will be conducted in Clearview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. There will be no visitation.
