PAULINE E. ARCHER Pauline E. Archer, 90, of Terre Haute died early Saturday morning, January 25, 2014 in Union Hospital. She was born November 4, 1923 in Terre Haute to Archie Soughers and Donna Goughanowr Soughers. Her husband, Bernard R. Archer, preceded her in death in 1969. Survivors include her two daughters, Jan Riney and her husband, Ken, of Terre Haute and Donna Torrens and her husband, Tom, of Gig Harbor, WA; her two sons, Robert Archer and his wife, Patricia, of Terre Haute and Bryan Archer and his wife, Laura, of Clayton, IN; two brothers, Richard Soughers and his wife, Barbara, of Cape Coral, FL and Allen "Len" Soughers and his wife, Shirley, of Shelburn, IN; a sister, Betty Jean Kirby of Denver, CO; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. After raising her own children, Pauline continued to help other children by working as a teacher's aid in children's programs with the Vigo County School Corporation. She was one of the founding members of Christus Victor Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Dana Newhouse officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Funeral information may also be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
