Paul E. Westfall, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. He was a machinist for the former Commercial Solvents Corporation. Paul was born May 15, 1934 in Terre Haute to Dewey Westfall and Laura E. Berger Westfall.
Survivors include his two sons, Mark Westfall of Whitestown, IN and Greg Westfall of Terre Haute; his daughter, Karen Walker (James) of Terre Haute; a step-son, Joe Stiffey (Susan) of Indianapolis; and a step-daughter, Marsha Stiffey of Terre Haute. Also surviving is his sister, Ruby Mitchell of Cory, IN; sisters-in-law, Hester Morris and Sarah Johnson (Jim); a brother-in-law, Joe Bohley (Betty); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Etta Bohley Westfall; and a daughter, Kristina A. Byerly.
Paul was a graduate of Cory High School. He loved dirt track racing especially sprint cars and was an amateur radio operator. Paul enjoyed watching local high school basket- ball and baseball games.
A public visitation is scheduled from 4:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, May 10, 2020 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Burial will be 9:00 AM, Monday, May 11, 2020 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Funeral information may also be found at www.callahanandhughes.com.
