Paul D. Proctor

Paul D. Proctor, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born August 17, 1936 in Talladega, Alabama to John James Proctor and Lucille Limbaugh Proctor.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Nelson Proctor; daughter, Cathy Hunter (Roy); step-sons, Chris Diel and Brad Diel; step-daughters, Sheryl Diel, Nancy Bauer, and Debra Ennen; brother, Frank Proctor; sister, Rachael Price; grandchildren, Jenica Becklund, Justin Proctor, Hailey Maxwell, Hannah Woodward, Hope Proctor, and Joseph Proctor; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Paul D. Proctor, Jr. and Bobby Joe Proctor; his parents; and ten siblings.

Paul worked for Kroger for 40 plus years as meat market manager where he won several awards. He was also a popular coon hunter in Clay County and had won many trophies. Paul loved his wife Phyllis, children, grandchildren, and family very much. He loved to hunt and Alabama Football.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Terry Tevlin officiating. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
