PAUL L. HEADY Paul L. Heady, 86, of Terre Haute died Saturday morning, June 8, 2013 in Union Hospital. He had worked in shipping and receiving for Quaker Maid, Inc. for 30 years and also worked as a grounds keeper for the Vigo County School Corporation at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in which he took great pride. Paul was born April 4, 1927 in Vigo County, Indiana to Russell Heady and Minnie Sharpe Heady. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Johannah Robertson Heady; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura & Gary Carwell of Paris, Illinois; a son, Stephen Heady of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Charles Heady and his wife, Wilma of Terre Haute and Max Heady and his wife, Betty, of Farmersburg, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Laurel Heady and Dane Heady; and a sister, Rachel Louise Heady. Paul was a graduate of Blackhawk High School and served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Paster Dana Newhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery near Pimento, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
