Paul J. Forsyth

Paul J. Forsyth, 76, of Terre Haute passed away Friday, February 17, 2023.  He was an Electrician having worked for the former Terre Haute Coke and Carbon Plant as well as several local electrical contractors.  Paul was born October 2, 1946 in Terre Haute to Paul E. Forsyth and Georgia Harmon Forsyth.  His wife, Patricia A. Pruiett Forsyth, preceded him in death in 2019.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, April and Tom Kintner of Seelyville, IN and Kim and Shane Zurcher of Clay City, IN;  four grandchildren, Bethany Rudisel, Levi Rudisel (Alyssa), Caleigh Kintner and Myah Kintner;  two great-grandchildren, Liam Rudisel and Skyla Rose Steward;  his brother in law, Darrell Pruiett (Tracy) of Sandford, IN;  and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Alexander Kaine Steward.

Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of Lawton Byrum VFW Post #972.  He loved to fish, play pool and watch football, especially the Minnesota Vikings.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street with Shane Zurcher officiating.  Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 4:00-6:00 PM.  If friends should so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Union Hospital, 1606 North 7 ^th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
