Patricia L. Smith Patricia L. (Wolfe) Smith passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Union Hospital. Patricia was born on September 16, 1928 to Eva L. and O. Fredrick Wolfe in Aurora, Illinois. Patricia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Patricia belonged to PEO, Chapter AW; Woman's Department Club; and Unity Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting, scrapbooking, and travelling to Florida beaches. Patricia spent her youth in Vincennes and later Terre Haute. She graduated from Garfield High School, where she was the homecoming queen. Patricia was an accomplished pianist and taught piano lessons. Patricia married Ronald E. Smith in 1948 in Terre Haute. She is survived by a son, Dr. Ronald G. Smith and his wife Donna and their four children: Rachel, Ellen, Aaron, and Reuben, all of Linton, IN; a daughter, Susan Smith Roads and her husband David Roads of Terre Haute; and step-grandchildren Robert Roads and Erin McDonough (Eric) and their daughter Chloe. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, in 1994; and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastors Linda Jo Peters and William Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013. If friends so desire, Memorial Contributions may be made to Unity Presbyterian Church, 1207 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, IN 47802 or a Charity of your choice.
