Patricia Joan Thralls Herrera
October 5, 1942 — February 27, 2019
She attended Gerstmeyer High School. Patricia worked her way through higher education becoming a Respitory Therapist and later a Cardio-Vascular Technician while living in Southern California. She was a gourmet cook who loved spending time with friends and family. Patricia and husband Fred retired to Arizona where they enjoyed RV camping and golf, she was especially proud of her hole in one.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Louis (Fred) Herrera and his family; her first husband, John Bowden Sr., her children, John Bowden Jr. and wife Carla, Pamela Browne and husband Christopher, and Lois Bowden; and grandchildren, Patricia Allison and James, John Bowden III, April Bowden and Sergio, Misty Parker, Christa English and Jeremy and Alias Hensel and Willow. Also surviving are sisters, Elma Certain, Celesta Jett and Frances Gray; many great and great-great grandchildren, as well as, nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia is predeceased by sister, Gertrude Royer; granddaughters, Jennifer Vernals and Cheryl Waggoner; and great-grandson, Trebor Huckle.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Mark Grayless officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 2:00-4:00 PM in the funeral home.
