Survivors include three sons, John, Ricky and Ronnie Allen; two daughters, Brenda Varvel and Patricia England; one brother, Roy Higgins; and a sister, Sharon Debattista; several grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Opal was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Rebecca Lile; and two sisters, Helen Reese and Betty Higgins.
Opal was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed planting her flowers and working in her garden.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Friday September 2, 2016 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to services. Funeral information is also available at www.callahanandhughes.com.
