NELROSE IRENE WOLFE Nelrose Irene Wolfe, 75, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday afternoon, September 2, 2013 in Exceptional Living Center in Brazil, IN. She was born June 21, 1938 in Terre Haute to John VanKirch and Mary Kosco VanKirch.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Lloyd E. Wolfe, Sr.; her three children, Lloyd E. Wolfe, Jr. (Debbie) of Terre Haute, Penny Hunsicker (Steve) of Indianapolis and Lisa Price (Joe) of Brazil, Indiana; her seven grandchildren; Abby Wolfe, Mandy Baesler (Casey), Nathan Thomas and Steven, Haley, Hannah and Annie Hunsicker; a sister, Carolyn Milner (Donald) of Terre Haute; and a brother Charles Toth (Martha) of Terre Haute. Also surviving are three step-grandchildren, Jacob Price, Jessica Parkins, and Joey Price; two great-grandchildren; Gavin and Quinn Baesler; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Jones; and nieces and nephews, Gary McCabe, Susan Fuson, Donald Milner, Julie Boyce, Nikki Freeman, Chuck Toth and Neil Toth. Nelrose was preceded in death by her father, John VanKirch; her mother and step-father, Mary & Elmer Toth; her sister, Edwina McCabe; and her niece Robin Milner Pace.

Nelrose was known to her family and friends as a woman with a strong dedication to her Catholic faith and a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a woman of prayer, and a Eucharistic Minister for 35 years at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In her earlier years she volunteered at Birthright of Terre Haute. Many will remember Nelrose for her talent for gardening and the many plants and flowers she shared with others. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Exceptional Living Center of Brazil for their care of Nelrose and their support to the family. You were exceptional.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2597 North Main St, Seelyville, IN 47878 with Father John Hollowell officiating. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 6th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. with a Eulogy and Rosary to take place at 7:00 P.M. in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
