Nathalie E. Barrows

Nathalie E. Barrows, 95, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday evening, April 24, 2024. Nathalie was born February 20, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH to John Kemper and Rose Korman Kemper. She was an Accounting Clerk for over 25 years with PSI/Duke Energy.

Survivors include her children, Kevin Beller (Janeen) of California, Brion Beller (Brenda) of North Carolina, Linda Beller of Terre Haute, Bruce Beller (Sara-Lee) of Tennessee and Robin Beller (Pete Dillon) of Terre Haute; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Duane Barrows and her brother, Jack Kemper.

Nathalie was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed working in her garden, scuba diving in the Florida Keys into her 80’s and loved animals of all kinds, especially her cats.  She was an amazing cook. She had many dishes and desserts that she loved to make including her favorite pecan pie and always made Brion a Coconut Cream Pie for his birthday.

The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to her caregiver, Gigi, and to all of the staff at Assisted Living at Westminster Village.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:05 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 South 9th Street, with Father Bob St. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.  If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Church Soup Kitchen, 111 South 9th St., Terre Haute, IN 47807; Catholic Charities of Terre Haute, P.O.
