Nancy Marie Raubuch

Nancy Marie Raubuch, 78, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Westminster Health and Rehabilitation.  She was born March 27, 1943 to George Walter and Marion Ruth (Shields) Franz.  She was a graduate of Schulte High School and received a teaching degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.  She retired from Deming Elementary School.

Survivors include her sister Donna Smith (Ricky); nieces and nephews Aimee Cobb (Cyle), Molly Fountain (Marc), David Raubuck, and Danny Raubuck (Karen); great-nieces and great-nephews Max and Miles Cobb, Henry, Jack, and Caroline Fountain, Andrew Raubuck (Autumn), Sara Raubuck (Jeremy Cale), Danielle Dunn (Will), Zachary Raubuck (Caitlin), Amoke Capps (Andrew), and Jerob Raubuck; and many great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 38 years Jack Raubuch, and her sister Susan Franz, who passed away the day before her.

Nancy was devoted to education and to her family; she enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings and pool parties and had a special bond with children.  She also enjoyed early American crafts and rug hooking.

Funeral services will take place at 12 p.m. Noon on Saturday, September 25 at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25 ^th St., officiated by Rev. Benjamin Syberg.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities Terre Haute, PO Box 3318, Terre Haute, IN 47803.
