Our heavenly Father called Nancy J. Setliff Lawler, 54, of Terre Haute to His home in the arms of the angels on February 25, 2014. She was born November 30, 1959 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Richard Setliff and Janet Monette Setliff. Nancy was a 1978 graduate of T.H. South Vigo High School and worked as a dental assistant in Columbus, OH. Nancy moved back to Terre Haute to be close to her parents and family who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her loving father Richard C. Setliff and Jeffrey Allen Lawler. Survivors include her son, Ryan Lawler and his wife Lindsey of Terre Haute; her mother, Janet Setliff of Terre Haute; two brothers, Richard Setliff, Jr. and his wife Camellia and Jason Setliff and his wife Laurie both of Terre Haute; three sisters, Sally Setliff-True, Kelly Ingle and Kimberly Gilbert and her husband Chad all of Terre Haute; two grandchildren, Ryan Lawler, Jr. and Logan Giles; seven nieces, Megan True, Mika Brown, Ayrton Ingle, Sara Ingle, Jordan Gilbert, Margaret Setliff, and Amelia Setliff; and her beloved dogs Sassy and Sissy. Nancy was a very proud and loving mother to her son Ryan Lawler and daughter-in-law Lindsey Lawler. Her grandson Ryan Jr. was the love of her life. Nancy also adored her dogs Sissy and Sassafras. Nancy was the joy of our entire family and we will celebrate her life with memories of her laughter and personal strength. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Saturday from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
