Michael A. Silver

Michael A. Silver, 54, of Knightstown, IN passed away Monday evening, November 30, 2020.  He worked in customer service and management with a Speedway Convenience Store and Gas Station in Knightstown, IN.  Mike was born September 15, 1966 in Greenfield, IN to Woodrow Silver and Hazel Mossor Silver.

Survivors include his father, Woodrow Silver of Denver, NC;  brother, Larry Silver (Brenda) of Terre Haute;  sister, Cynthia McDonald (Christian) of Wilmington, NC;  half-brother, Jason Campo (Kristal) of NC;  his companion, Holly Whitham of Knightstown, IN- her children, Journie Whitham and Caleb Whitham- and granddaughter, Jemma Whitham;  and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother, and his grandparents.

Mike was a member of the Masons and loved sports of all kinds.  He enjoyed watching horse racing, NASCAR Auto Racing- especially Dale Earnhardt, baseball and was a HUGE New York Giants fan.  The biggest joy of Mike’s life was being an uncle to his adoring nieces and nephews who lovingly called him “Uncle Roy”.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street, with Pastor Steve Moore officiating.  Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
