Michael Jacob, 63, of Terre Haute died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Union Hospital. He was born November 14, 1950 in Terre Haute to Lee D. Jacob and Joan Taylor Jacob. Michael was part owner and operator of Morton Livestock Auction for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Carol Ann Payne Jacob; daughter, Tressia Puller and her husband Kenneth of Carmel, IN; two grandsons, Dalton Puller and Preston Puller; four brothers, Joe Jacob and his wife Connie , Tom Jacob and his significant other Debbie both of Terre Haute, Dave Jacob and his wife Becky of Brazil, IN, and Pete Jacob and his wife Karen of Van Buren, OH; an aunt, Janet Archer and her husband Russell of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charles Jacob. Michael worked with livestock and was a 4H livestock appraiser for many counties around the area. He loved fishing and riding the golf cart with his grandsons. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street with David Rector officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 17, 2014 in the funeral home.
