Merle Junior Pettijohn

Survivors include a son, Kerry Pettijohn of Sullivan, IN; a daughter, Sherri Foegley (Dave) of Fishers, IN; brother, Marion Pettijohn (Freida); daughter-in-law, Colleen Spice; nine grandchildren, PJ Pettijohn (Esmerelda), Shaine Pettijohn (Elizabeth), Leslie Hobbs (Davie), Heather Johnson (Sam), Kerri Price (Kevin), Kyle Pettijohn (Amber), Amanda DeSchepper (Nick), Jordan Anderson (Braden) and Nathan Foegley; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Pettijohn; his parents; sons, Larry Pettijohn and Jerry Pettijohn; and brother, Don Pettijohn.
Merle was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and the Printers Union.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Rick Swan and Pastor Dennis Ticen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
